On February 18, 2019, ETIZ foam glass received a Technical Certificate from the Russian Ministry of Construction.
Certificate
ETIZ foam glass underwent technical evaluation at the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation. As a result, a certificate was issued confirming the suitability, reliability, and safety of our material for use in construction. Application areas: facades, pitched and flat roofs, partitions and ceilings.
Foam glass can be used in all climatic regions, in dry and normal humidity zones, in mildly and moderately aggressive environments, for civil and industrial buildings.
Compliance
ETIZ foam glass was tested for compliance with construction, fire, industrial, and environmental safety standards. After verification, the quality parameters, technical characteristics, and performance properties of the foam glass were approved and recognized as meeting the requirements of current legislation.
About the material
Foam glass is a new category of thermal insulation materials. ETIZ foam glass, like cellular glass, has a similar raw material base, but the manufacturing technology and, consequently, a number of material properties differ. Thanks to our unique development, we not only preserved all the best qualities of cellular glass but also achieved new properties: ETIZ foam glass has an open-pore structure for vapor permeability, allowing structures to "breathe"; a standalone sound insulation coefficient of +27 dB, and sound absorption has class "A" (the highest). All of this is very important for comfortable living, health, and safety. In addition, ETIZ foam glass is significantly cheaper than cellular glass products available on the Russian market. ETIZ foam glass is a non-combustible thermal and sound insulation material, environmentally safe and durable.
The high thermal and sound insulation properties of ETIZ foam glass have been confirmed through physical and mechanical tests at the V.A. Kucherenko TSNIISK.
